Exercise improves anxiety and depression, increases fitness and strength and prevents some delayed complications of therapy.

The guidelines for exercise in cancer patients are almost the same as the general population; however, cancer patients should talk to their doctors and incorporate physical activity into their lifestyle under their doctors’ supervision.
